Implementation of Social Media for Enhancing Learning Interactivity in Formal Education

Abstract

n view of the rapid growth of social media and its huge potential for facilitating communication, sharing experience and ideas and bringing together different cultures and societies it could not but also develop the idea of implementing social media in learning in order to enhance its interactivity. This article concerns the problems of social media introduction into the practice of students’ learning, particularly with regard to its psychological and educational issues. It provides an overview of benefits social media provides in enhancing students’ learning interactivity and competences in their professional domain.
